Lavrov: Moscow is concerned about the deterioration of the situation in Jerusalem

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that his country consistently supports the settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian issue, and expressed Moscow's concern about the deterioration of the situation in Jerusalem.
Lavrov said in comments carried by the news agency "Tass" Russian statements that the "situation in the Middle East settlement and the deterioration of the situation in Jerusalem and the holy places is very worrying."
"We consistently support the settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian issue that will ensure the establishment of a Palestinian state and the security of Israel as well as the situation in the holy sites associated with the history of all religions represented in Jerusalem."
